What Happens at Board Meetings?
Monthly Board Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month. The purpose of the meeting is to execute and plan ongoing regular business of The Colony. There are several standing topics, including Treasurers Report, Management Report, Old Business, New Business, and Homeowner Correspondence. When required the board may have separate meetings to conduct business where time is of the essence or where no formal vote is needed.

The Annual Meeting is typically held the third Saturday of April. This is an important meeting for all home owners and attendance is highly encouraged. While the agenda can vary from year to year, there are several primary agenda topics, including: President Summary, Treasurers Report and Budget Review, Old Business, New Business, and an open forum for homeowner and Board of Directors dialog. Critical votes are also held during this time. They include the election of new board members (as defined by terms of current board members) and any other items that require a vote by homeowners.
